ClearScript does not require an account and does not intentionally collect personal information to use the core tool. When you submit a YouTube URL, it is sent to our server solely to fetch the corresponding transcript from YouTube's publicly available caption data, and is not stored after the request completes.

Standard technical logs (such as IP address and request timestamps) may be retained briefly by our hosting provider for security, abuse prevention, and rate-limiting purposes, and are not sold to third parties. We use a minimal local storage entry to remember your cookie preference. Once advertising is enabled on this site, third-party ad providers (such as Google AdSense) and, if enabled, analytics providers (such as Google Analytics) may set cookies or use similar identifiers on your device to serve and measure ads or site usage, in line with their own privacy policies.

If we later introduce optional accounts, paid features, or analytics, this policy will be updated accordingly and the change will be reflected in the "last updated" date above.
